AARP Recruiting Mature Job Seekers
AARP Foundation WorkSearch is recruiting job seekers age 55 and older for enrollment into our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). SCSEP is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor and provides participants with on the job experience to develop/update skills through paid training assignments at non-profit and public agencies. The goal is to assist participants in obtaining permanent "unsubsidized" jobs in their community.
AARP WorkSearch utilizes a specialized assessment system, which identifies suitable job choices based on one’s interests, personal characteristics, skills and experience. This system offers quick tests to determine if one has the right skills for a job, online training programs to fill skill gaps and links to job openings by zip code.
